The app on Xbox One was unusable. The TV channels are laid out like a bad version of Netflix.

Channels don't load all of the time, requiring you to restart the app. Listings don't always update, requiring an app restart. Channels buffer, freeze and stutter. Sound went out of sync.

I have a 75 Mbps connection, so the issues were not on my end. This happened with both the Xbox One app, hardwired to my router and using the Android app casting to a Chromecast. Add all of this with the fact that the channel selection available is not great at all. I cancelled my free trial out of frustration.

My biggest suggestion to anybody looking to cut the cord is to give the free trial of Sony's Playstation Vue a try. My whole family loves it and I've had no issues.

I agree with your complaints. However, do you realize that you need a faster Router as well as faster internet service.

When I started with Sling, there were problems as you describe. I got faster Routers and had better streaming.

I no longer use Sling for other reasons. See "Refund for SPORTS EXTRA"
