We had signed up for sling TV a couple of days ago and my 7 year old was playing with the remote and accidentally clicked on a PPV live event. After a minute or so, he changed channels.

We have set up live alerts for all cc charges. So in a few minutes, my husband saw this charge for $85 dollars and immediately contacted sling TV. After over half an hour on phone, he was told that the rep could see that we did not watch the vent and that customer service couldn't do anything and this has been escalated to billing department. We were assured someone will reach out to us in a couple of days which never happened.

I again reached out to the customer service rep after almost 1.5 months and rep claimed they cannot offer any refund even for accidental purchases. If they are so strict about this, they should ask viewers to set up a pin when we install this app, so that there are no accidental purchases.

Their customer service is pathetic and cannot even send an email with the refer number for the complaint. At this rate and with such swindling policies, I am pretty sure they will have to close shop pretty soon.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.
