Sling tv tells me that I signed up and never canceled their subscription. I never used this.

When I requested a statement of usage, I was told that they could only offer the last one - not even a date. Well, they have been billing me since 12/15. They said .... look at the fine print; absolutely no refunds.

IF I had signed up, wouldn't I have used it? In my opinion, SLING TV is a RIPOFF. Customer service simply attempts to twist one's words. I regret not looking at my Debit Card purchases ...

but Sling TV -- I would recommend AVOIDANCE. I do not recall HOW that charge was made - how it was setup; I NEVER EVEN WATCHED IT ONCE back then. But, Customer Service could NOT tell me what my usage was. Obviously, they are no help.

ODDLY, I did try the service in/around February 2017 - the 7 day free trial. I canceled within a few hours; it was full of commercials; and not worth $27 monthly. NOW, if I already had a login on the same ID ... or a different one, possibly, that was my fault.

But, I NEVER EVEN WATCHED SLING back in December, when the billings started. Why sign up and never use? The other trial account ...I did a trial that I actually remember, that was canceled within hours. How can I sign up for Sling and NOT WATCH IT AT ALL; then sign up for it again and cancel, a second time.

Customer service was of no help ... only telling me I supposedly signed up on my cell phone .. actually an Android. That was it.

What frustrates me the most is their response: read the small print. It says no refunds for any reasons. I KNOW I SCREWED UP; but SLING TV would not even evaluate my usage time. Normally, most reputable businesses would allow at least a partial credit...or provide usage details, at minimum.

SLING won't even disclose that I never used it from the time I supposedly signed up for it in December. I CANNOT trace back what happened if I do not know. I SHOULD have caught it on my DEBIT CARD; I was neglectful here.

Still, I'D AVOID SLING - Hulu and Netflix are reputable and have reliable systems .... SLING can FLING IT.

Monetary Loss: $109.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Sling TV Pros: Never watched on my initial signup.

Sling TV Cons: I did opt for a trial, I signed up for the 7 day trial even with active subscription.
