I requested to upgrade my sling account to include the sports Plus package. Sling charged me for this, and and I never received the upgrades. It's impossible to get a live human being to speak with you through their ivr system. The chatbots will hang up on you or end the chat at any time. There is no physical person that the system will allow you to speak to. The chatbot will refuse any type of refund compensation or resolution. The only option they provide you is to cancel your account, at which time they refuse to refund your money.

Not working right

The sound goes to a very muffled, low muffled tone. You can barely hear it. The only way we figured out how to fix it is to turn it on mute and then off mute.

When you cancel your service with Sling TV, be very careful that you eliminate your payment method with them because they will continue to charge you without your consent even after they confirm your cancellation, and then they will not refund you due to their policy of “not giving refunds”. They customer service will also act belligerently and will refuse to let you speak to a supervisor, or will just decide to hand up on you if they feel they don’t like the interaction.

Hello. I am sending this email to you as confirmation of my cancellation of my Sling TV subscription. On, January 27, 2026, I spoke with a representative over your chat service, since you do not offer a phone contact, and the representative confirmed that she would ensure my subscription would be *properly cancelled* - I had already confirmed with her that I had originally cancelled my subscription on October 13, 2025, and yet had been wrongly charged by Sling for the following months of Nov, Dec, and Jan. She offered a refund of 1 month as a goodwill gesture, but refused to re-pay me the 3 months of subscription fees that were taken from my account.
I have attached the transcript of the conversation with this representative, the proof of cancellation I completed with Sling on 10/13/2025, and the proof of PayPal autopay cancellation - which I have been forced to do because I cannot trust that Sling will follow through with properly cancelling my subscription despite your representative saying she would.
Please confirm receipt of this message. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Tried to activate STINK (a/k/a Sling) today and the whole system fell apart.

I paid for the service on my desktop PC, but the STINK app on my TV and Fire TV Cube refused to recognize my subscription. Instead, it kept trying to make me pay again and again like I never subscribed.

Support was completely useless.

They just repeated the same canned script over and over (screenshot attached). No fix, no escalation, no actual help.

Posting this so others dont waste their time or money on a service that cant even activate properly.

My service just stopped working, and you are still taking payments out of my account. How does that work?

I can't get into the app; all I get is an error code 403. What's that? But y'all are taking my money, right? Y'all are scamming people for their money.

I'm going to sue your *** for fraud.

Watch and see; too much money just to watch TV, and I can't. Crazy.

I would never pay to use sling again. Unacceptable to pay for something not available as promised.

Keeps getting worse, no live customer service. Lost all the local channels and they raised the price. Chat bot cut me off and was rude, if you can believe that.

First, my Airtv stopped working, and I couldn't get help. Now my local channels won't load, and the chatbot cut my chat right off.

I'm in the process of leaving Sling and looking into other streaming services.

Plus, Sling just raised prices, and I was not even notified. Not having live customer service is absolutely wrong and will bring Sling down.

No access. Sling sent me in circles, none of which allowed me to watch what I wanted.

I purchased a one-day plan.

4/8/26 the 888 309-**** customer service is no longer working.

I suspect thats how they resolve customer problems.

My issue is not a big one but resolving it is cheap and easy. Maybe easy for Sling=ignore.

Still ripped off and pissed.

To sign up for Sling TV, first choose the Sling Orange, Sling Blue, or Sling Orange + Blue package on the home page. After this, add Extras, create an account, download the Sling app, and watch sports, comedy, and other videos on your device.

Sling TV is an app-based TV service that lets you stream live television and on-demand content over the Internet. When you activate the Sling Orange, Sling Blue, or Sling Orange + Blue plan, you get a flexible and affordable alternative to traditional cable TV which you can watch anywhere: at home or on the go.

The cost of Sling TV is $20 for your first month. For this amount, you receive Sling TV streaming services, packages, premium, and extras. The company also provides additional extras, which you can learn on the main page of its official website.
