When you cancel your service with Sling TV, be very careful that you eliminate your payment method with them because they will continue to charge you without your consent even after they confirm your cancellation, and then they will not refund you due to their policy of “not giving refunds”. They customer service will also act belligerently and will refuse to let you speak to a supervisor, or will just decide to hand up on you if they feel they don’t like the interaction.
I have attached the transcript of the conversation with this representative, the proof of cancellation I completed with Sling on 10/13/2025, and the proof of PayPal autopay cancellation - which I have been forced to do because I cannot trust that Sling will follow through with properly cancelling my subscription despite your representative saying she would.

- Paid on desktop, but TV apps don’t recognize the subscription.
- Support was unhelpful with a canned script; no fix or escalation.
Tried to activate STINK (a/k/a Sling) today and the whole system fell apart.
I paid for the service on my desktop PC, but the STINK app on my TV and Fire TV Cube refused to recognize my subscription. Instead, it kept trying to make me pay again and again like I never subscribed.
Support was completely useless.
They just repeated the same canned script over and over (screenshot attached). No fix, no escalation, no actual help.
Posting this so others dont waste their time or money on a service that cant even activate properly.

Your services showed and led me to believe that what I was buying would be the right package of what I was looking for. I spent money on two different packages that provided me with no help in what I was trying to get.
Only then, when I wanted to cancel my subscription, did it finally show me the blue and orange package that I needed to watch the NBA Finals. But at that time, I had already spent $35+ for no damn reason. And then to expect to spend another $45 plus??? Then there was no one available to speak with.
Only a bot that couldn't answer any relevant questions. So, I canceled and would really love a refund since I used none of your services.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. I was paying for Sling select on my streaming and they were giving me sling free streaming.
That did not cover the programs I wanted to watch. They kept trying to make me give them my credit card number to help me and they said they would pay me back. I refused. I finally got help when I threatened to report them to Pissed.
Thanks to Pissed I finally got a human being to make the change that I was paying for. Be persistent and mention the name [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA]. They don’t like that.
You are not dealing with human beings most of the time and they don’t have a working telephone number. This makes pitiful customer service.
I am calling to resolve an issue with streaming and they are trying to make me put my credit card info in to talk to a technician. That is not going to happen. I am blocked from communication until aI put the information in.

I've not heard back from sling tv or the pissed consumer. Another week with no sling tv
So update, I had my Sling tv back for a week and now again tonight it has the error 10-100. Sling needs to get it together or im going to have to unsubscribe and go to another streaming service
One day I go to put on my sling tv and it had an error 10-100. I call my internet plan. They said they good on they end. I've been trying to reach sling thru app, website and it will not log me in with my internet.
I've done everything sling, Google and even my internet provider has said to do and I still cannot get in. I uninstalled then installed my sling tv and when I go to sign in, its error 10-3 which sling says its a streaming or connection issue.
So idk if the issue is sling or my internet but sling doesn't provide a live agent to communicate with. I've paid my bill and have no sling
